It's been a week since I submitted the ending of My Little Sequel, so it's time for some extra stuff.

Once I had finished the Part VI, "Letters Tell a Tale" fav.me/d4tqs8o, I wasn't completely happy with it. It felt forced and a bit off at some points. Then, when I was listening to Nightwish' "Dead Boy's Poem", I got inspired to write the actual letter from the episode to match the titular dead boy segment. The result is this piece.

However, I was rather anxious to choose which one to include in the series. I did like both of them, but Memories was in some ways st$ronger than Letters. However, its narrative approach on the subject felt out of place with the series: it was more personal, more individual character piece rather than part of the bigger story.

Thus Letters was used in a series and Memories was used as a alternative, independent version. And no, it had nothing to do with the certain vocalists.
